GEOTRANS (Geographic Translator) is an application program which allows you to easily convert geographic coordinates among a wide variety of coordinate systems, map projections, and datums. GEOTRANS runs on Microsoft Windows (95, 98, NT, 2000, XP) and UNIX Motif environments.
ICS-SAR is a Windows program geared towards Search and Rescue. It is designed to assist in the understanding and implementation of the Incident Command System (ICS) before and during SAR incidents. Read the ICS-SAR installation instructions.
Initial Response Organizer (IRO) is a free Windows program designed to help with Route and Location Searches, primarily in wilderness environments, with special emphasis on the Initial Response phase of the search.
IRO helps in two distinct, but interlocked ways.
- It documents the Route and Location Searches by collecting all relevant information in a text file, called the IRO Note.
- It guides the Incident Commander through the various steps that must be accomplished during the Initial Response to ensure nothing is left out or overlooked.
Missing Poster is a Windows program that uses NET 4.0. It is a tool designed to assist Search and Rescue, police, and other agencies to create and distribute missing person posters in a standardized format. It can export the poster to Word, Excel, PDF, PNG, JPG and other formats.
SAR T-Cards is a Windows program designed to help the unit responsible for tracking resources during an incident to do so in an organized and efficient manner. The program attempts to mimic the standard ICS physical T-Cards. Although SAR T-Cards is aimed at Search And Rescue incidents it can be used in any incident, large or small. 7 Zip is a Windows utility that allows you to zip and unzip files.
ArsClip is a utility for the Windows clipboard. ArsClip monitors the clipboard and keeps track of the entries. Press a configurable hotkey and select an item (or items) to quickly paste into a program. See also Clipx.
